Prof. Dr. K.V.S. Latha joins us with extensive 35+ years of experience in clinical oncology, academic leadership, and cancer research. A highly accomplished physician, Dr. Latha is a Gold Medalist in both MBBS and MD, and has been recognized with the Best Doctor and Best Teacher awards by The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University. She has previously served as Professor & Head of the Department of Medical Oncology at the Institute of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Madras Medical College, Chennai. Her clinical interests include Gynecologic cancers, Breast cancer, Head and Neck Malignancies, GI cancers and other solid tumors. Dr. Latha is also the Principal Investigator for the Hospital-Based Cancer Registry Project under the NCDIR (ICMR), contributing to data-driven cancer control efforts across India. Her academic contributions include numerous peer-reviewed publications across national and international journals, focusing on treatment outcomes, clinical profiles, and epidemiological studies in oncology.
