The “patient first” philosophy deeply ingrained in his approach to the people suffering from cancer drives his enthusiasm to adopt innovative surgical options in day-to-day practice with an organ preservation approach. His rigorous training at the premier Cancer Institute in Adyar, Chennai, followed by a decade of a successful professional and academic career at leading cancer centres, has endowed him with the skill and knowledge for the treatment of peritoneal surface malignancies and ovarian cancers (HIPEC), gastrointestinal cancer surgeries and laparoscopic surgeries for colorectal cancers. Also trained in oncoplastic breast cancer surgeries, he takes pride in minimising the morbidity of cancer surgeries and prioritising quality of life. Being a people person, he takes time to listen and is a natural at patient counselling.
